Cotswold Way Relay

We are putting 1 Women's, 1 Men's & 2 mixed teams for this year's event, each comprising 10 runners.
(min. 3 ladies for each mixed team).
This year's selectors Dick, Lou and Mark - have managed with much wrangling to sort out the teams,
All runners are encouraged to recce their leg before the day (you might end up at the front with
no-one to follow!), if you need any assistance with reccying please contact your team captain.
If you need help arranging transport on the day, please talk to Lou/Dick/Mark to make contact with others.
The Bulletin Board is also an ideal place to make contact with fellow leg
runners or team members
We don't enter this one as "Chepstow Harriers" for historical reasons... in fact, for very
historical reasons we use the name "Striguil" (look it up!).

Well done to all those who ran on a showery and often muddy day.
Particular mention to those who could so easily be forgotten
- the early runners and their supporters. Having followed
the race from the end of leg one to the end of leg 7
I hope that the remainder was well supported.
Special praise to Bill Savage who, having completed
every stage over the years (not all on the same day!)
was presented with a bottle of Champagne. Good one Bill!
Thanks also to the team that operated the drinks
station and road crossing on leg 9 - much appreciated
by the organisers and all the runners.
